Amid glorious black locust trees, this elegantly restored 1832 farmhouse is an unspoiled retreat from the world. Enjoy a lazy summer day relaxing in our lawn chairs, fall asleep in our hammock, or enjoy a cold drink under the black locust trees with a good book from our personal collection.

 

The Inn is on 3 acres with mountain views of Sugarbush, Camels Hump and the Worcester Mountain range. If you feel adventurous experience nature trails and other civilized pleasures close by. The Inn is centrally located between Stowe and Waterbury where activities are abundant all year round. Easy access to Montpelier, Burlington and the charming villages of the Northeast Kingdom.

After a fun filled day of activities in our area come home to a quiet and peaceful pace here at the Birds Nest Inn. At 5:00 we serve some homemade appetizers.

Grab a blanket and enjoy them outside since the Inn has large open land with views. Play ball with Buttercup & Lily or at night relax under the stars and take in the beauty of the moonlight.

The innkeepers enjoy gardening, bird watching and other outdoor activities. While you relax outside you can observe many different species of birds and a variety of flowers from the gardens. The Inn is surrounded by various beautiful trees including many black locust trees that tower the Inn.
