Stowe
Street Emporium was established in 1994
by Jack Carter and Ted Schultheis in the
small central Vermont town of Waterbury.
In an effort to revive a once thriving commercial
street, the partners did extensive renovations
to an 1894 storefront on historic Stowe
Street.
With 2500 square feet the Emporium serves
the community and the area with a wide variety
of merchandise for the home and personal
use.
Customer
service is very important and appreciated
by customers. Owner-managed, the Emporium
has grown in reputation as a friendly destination
for anyone looking for seasonal or everyday
gifts and treasures.

Vermont
Outdoor Furniture is perfect for relaxing,
entertaining, or enhancing that certain outdoor
spot on your lawn, patio, deck or flower garden.
Vermont Outdoor Furniture has long been the
favorite of homeowners, gardeners, and professional
landscape designers. Our expanded line of
outdoor furniture includes: adirondack chairs,
garden benches, patio furniture, dining tables,
porch swings, rockers, gliders, Adirondack
chairs, and cushions.
At
Vermont Outdoor Furniture every piece of outdoor
furniture is constructed with quality northern
cedar harvested from Vermont forests. All
the shop-assembled joints on our outdoor furniture
are dowel pin construction with weatherproof
glue. We use stainless steel screws and bolts
on all of our outdoor and patio furniture.
We
ship all of our outdoor furniture with a beautiful
unstained natural finish. Because our cedar
outdoor furniture is naturally decay and rot
resistant, it is not necessary to apply a
protective finish. Over time the finish on
our outdoor furniture will fade into a sliver
gray, much like teak or mahogany. If you would
like to preserve the original natural color
of our outdoor furniture, there are many clear
penetrating finishes available. The white
cedar we use for our outdoor furniture also
solid and transparent wood stains beautifully.

Stowe
Kitchen Bath & Linens opened as Stowe
Kitchen Company in December 1983, occupying
one-third the space it occupies today. We
began as a kitchen store for professional
and amateur cooks, carrying top of the line
cookware and cutlery, gadgets of all sorts,
and tabletop linens, dinnerware, glassware
and serving pieces. In 1990, we increased
our size and added more variety to our existing
merchandise and new sections for children,
pets, and eventually towels, sheets, soaps
and lotions. In January 1996, we opened our
second store in the same building, Stowe Bath
& Linens dedicated to bath and linen products
including spa items (bath gels, loofah, lotions,
etc.), shower accessories (shower curtains,
towel bars, ceramic soap dishes, etc.), bedding,
bath towels, small pieces of furniture, and
houseware accessories like frames, mirrors,
lamps and rugs. In 2000, we joined the two
stores together, creating Stowe Kitchen Bath
& Linens.

Vermont
Liberty Tea Company manufactures and packages
teas. We started with herbal blends then branched
out to include green and black tea blends.
We took our name from the Liberty Teas
that the American colonists made from local
herbs as part of their defiance of the British
tea tax in the 1770s.
Vermont
Liberty Teas are simple blends of herbs that
can be found naturally or can be grown in
Vermont. Our natural, caffeine-free herbal
blends are simply meant to refresh and keep
Vermonters, and visitors alike, mindful of
Vermont's simple pleasures.
We
are located in Waterbury, VT, home to Ben
& Jerry's, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters,
Cold Hollow Cider Mill and a host of other
Vermont Specialty Food Producers.
