The
Cold Hollow Cider Mill is one of the top
producers of Fresh Apple Cider in all of
New England. We are also one of the very
few that press year-round. The Mill has
become one of the top tourist attractions
in Vermont because our operation is open
to public viewing. Come and see cider that's
still made the old fashioned way, with a
rack and cloth press built in the 1920's.
We are open year-round, 7 days a week from
8:00 am to 6:00 pm (8:00 am to 7:00 pm during
the summer months).
After you have seen cider made, its time
to wander through the large Retail store
and check out many of the specialty foods
we have to offer. Bring your appetite, since
you can sample plenty of jellies, mustards,
applesauce, fudge, and other goodies.
In
the Summer, watch real bees make honey in
our honey corner (don't worry, they're behind
glass). Honeybees play a big part in the
apple world, as they are responsible for
pollinating the orchards each spring while
they are in bloom to ensure a "well
set" crop.
You
may be lured by an overwhelming aroma to
The Donut Counter, where you can sink your
teeth into our legendary cider donuts. These
donuts were featured in Gourmet Magazine,
as one of the top four donuts in the country.
They go great with big cup of fresh Green
Mountain Coffee. We sell many fresh mouthwatering
baked goods from our natural ingredient
bakery right in the store, including apple
pies, pumpkin rolls, maple cream cheese
pockets, apple-cheddar squares, and many
others.

During
the past 10 years alone, Cabot has been
honored with virtually every major award

But
you don't have to take the experts' word
for it - try delicious Cabot Cheese for
yourself. You might find yourself wondering
"Why can't all cheese be this good?"
We think it's simply the best cheddar on
the planet - maybe even the best in the
whole Milky Way!

Vermont
Liberty Tea Company manufactures and packages
teas. We started with herbal blends then branched
out to include green and black tea blends.
We took our name from the Liberty Teas
that the American colonists made from local
herbs as part of their defiance of the British
tea tax in the 1770s.
Vermont
Liberty Teas are simple blends of herbs that
can be found naturally or can be grown in
Vermont. Our natural, caffeine-free herbal
blends are simply meant to refresh and keep
Vermonters, and visitors alike, mindful of
Vermont's simple pleasures.
We
are located in Waterbury, VT, home to Ben
& Jerry's, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters,
Cold Hollow Cider Mill and a host of other
Vermont Specialty Food Producers.

At
the Red Hen Baking Company, the ancient
craft of making starters, or levains, guides
us each day.
All
of our breads are naturally leavened and
made from flour derived from certified organic
grains. Each loaf is then formed by hand
and baked in a 500 degree hearth oven.
This
process results in an interesting, intentional
irregularity to the interior hole structure,
as well as the dark, crisp crust for which
our breads are known - essential to the
flavor and style of our loaves.
At
Red Hen, we are proud of the ingredients
we use. In addition to our commitment to
supporting Organic, sustainable agriculture,
we are pleased to support local farmers
and businesses by featuring ingredients
produced locally, including Vermont-grown
wheat and potatoes.
Our
retail hours are 7AM - 6PM, Tuesday through
Saturday; Noon - 6PM on Monday. We are closed
on Sunday.

We
have carefully selected premium flours from
mills around the country to create our famous
"best-thing-next-to-an-authentic-tortilla
chip."
All
of our tortilla chips are baked, then cooked
in canola oil and seasoned with just the right
amount of salt; a perfect compliment to our
salsa and a cold cerveza.
Miguel's
blue corn tortilla chips are made with organic
blue corn grown in the foothills of the Rocky
Mountains. Remember - - - We only use all-natural
ingredients in our products.
Miguel's
Stowe Away Salsa is made from a chunky blend
of fresh-tasting ingredients. Tomatoes from
California, tomatillos and chiles from New
Mexico and other premium ingredients are used
in the preparation of our salsa. And everything
we use is all natural. We have formulated
our salsas to appeal to all tastes, from mild
to hot, and roasted garlic and chipotle too.
